Sherwood Dungeon contains many different items that your character can receive from monsters, chests, barrels, and monster drops. Types of items include weapons, shields, potions, amulets, rings, gold coins, scrolls, and runes.
Weapons can be used in either hand and you use weapons at or below your character level. Amulets are necklaces that add an extra elemental attack on your opponent and adds to your armor points. To use an amulet, press the Tab key. Shields add to your armor points. Rings add to your armor and can increase health points and hit point regeneration. Health potions can be found in chests and barrels and heal damage to your hit points received in combat. Runes and Scrolls are also found in chests and barrels and these summon special weapons.
